Thailand Group Trip Itinerary

Day One - Welcome to Bangkok, Thailand!

Your Thailand adventure begins as you touch down at the Bangkok International Airport (BKK). From the moment you land, you’ll be greeted by the warmth and hospitality that Bangkok is renowned for.

Airport Arrival and Transportation:
Upon arrival, our dedicated team will be there to assist you through the airport and ensure a smooth and comfortable transfer to your luxurious five-star hotel. Enjoy a relaxing ride as you take in the first glimpses of Bangkok's amazing city.

Hotel Check-In:
At the Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen's Park (or similar), we will be situated in the heart of Sukhumvit with easy access to major attractions and public transportation. The hotel's luxurious amenities include an outdoor pool, spa, fitness center, marble bathrooms, and stunning city views! The hotel also includes multiple dining options offering Chinese, Japanese, and Thai cuisine!

Arriving at the hotel, you’ll be welcomed with a swift and efficient check-in process. Once settled in, take some time to appreciate the lavish amenities and stunning views from your room.

Relax and Recharge:
After a long journey, the rest of the day is yours to unwind and recharge. Whether you choose to relax in your room, explore the hotel’s facilities, or take a leisurely stroll around the vicinity, this is your time to acclimate and prepare for the exciting days ahead.

This first day sets the tone for a trip filled with delights and adventure. Get ready to explore all that Bangkok has to offer in the days to come!

Day Two - Exploring Bangkok's Temples!

Start your day with breakfast at the hotel and then it is on to Bangkok's most famous tourist attractions!

The Grand Palace:
One of Thailand's most iconic landmarks, known for its stunning architecture and rich history. The Grand Palace was built in 1782 and was the official residence of Thailand kings for 15 years! The palace complex features intricate gold, adorned temples, impressive halls, and the revered Emerald Buddha.

The Emerald Buddha:
Thailand's most sacred Buddha statute was carved from a single piece of jade. The revered figure dates back to the 15th century and is adorned with gold robes seasonally.

Wat Traimit:
Known as the Temple of the Golden Buddha is home to the world's largest solid gold Buddha statute. The 10 feet tall and 5.5 ton statute is believed to be centuries old and was discovered in the 1950s under plaster.

On this day you will get to immerse yourself in Thailand's rich history and cultural beauty.

Day Three - Day of Leisure or Optional Floating Market!

Today, you have the freedom to create your own adventure in Thailand. Whether you’re eager to explore Bangkok’s attractions, relax by the hotel pool, or indulge in an optional experience, the day is yours to enjoy.

Explore the City:
Wander through Bangkok at your own pace. Visit Chinatown for delicious Chinese or Thai food or Khao San Road for street vendors and lively nightlife. Maybe spend the day shopping at ICONSIAM, with its modern shopping mall with high-end brands, indoor floating market, and river park and water show.

Relax by the Hotel Pool:
If you prefer a more laid-back day, unwind by the hotel pool. Bask in the sun, sip on a refreshing drink, and enjoy the luxurious amenities your five-star accommodation offers.

Optional Experience - Damnoen Saduak Floating Market ($125 per person):
For those seeking a unique experience, consider taking a long-tail boat tour through the Thailand canals. You will observe the lifestyle of the local people and visit a coconut farm where you will taste delicious coconut juice. Then spend some time at the train market for the ride back to the hotel.

This experience includes lunch at a local restaurant!

Optional Experience - Safari World ($100 per person):

Safari World and Marine Park in Bangkok, Thailand, is a unique and popular tourist attraction that combines the excitement of a safari experience with entertaining animal shows and marine exhibits.

There is only time to do one optional activity on Day Three.

Day Four - Phuket, Thailand!

After breakfast, we will check out the hotel and transfer to the airport for our flight to Phuket.

The airfare from Bangkok to Phuket is included in your trip package price!

After arriving in Phuket, we will transfer to our Phuket hotel, Grand Mercure Phuket Patong (or similar).

The Grand Mercure Phuket Patong is situated near Patong Beach, Jungceylon Shopping Center, and Bangla Road offering easy access to nightlife and shopping. The hotel's luxurious amenities includes three outdoor pools, spa, and fitness center with yoga classes. Hotel restaurants include international cuisine, a craft beer bar, and a French patisserie!

Patong Beach is Phuket’s most famous and vibrant beach, known for its golden sands, lively nightlife, and endless entertainment. By day, relax by the turquoise waters or try exciting water sports. By night, explore bustling Bangla Road with its bars, clubs, and street performances. Whether you’re looking for adventure or relaxation, Patong Beach has it all!

Day Five - Island Hopping!

After breakfast, we will take a transfer to the pier where we will board a big bod for our journey to the breathtaking Phi Phi Islands.

During the tour, we will visit various picturesque locations around the islands including Maya Bay, Viking Cave, Monkey Beach, and Pileh Lagoon.

We will enjoy swimming, snorkeling, or simply relaxing on the pristine beaches surrounded by crystal clear waters. Take in the natural beauty, explore the vibrant marine life, and capture memorable moments amidst the idyllic surroundings.

A delicious lunch will be provided on one of the island, allowing you to refuel and savor local flavors while enjoying the scenic views. Throughout the tour, our knowledgeable guides will provide information about the islands and their significance, ensuring you have a memorable and informative experience.

After a full day of island exploration and relaxation, we will be transported back to our hotel in Phuket.

Day Six - Day of Leisure or Optional Elephant Sanctuary!

After breakfast, spend a day enjoying Phuket or visiting an elephant sanctuary!

Leisure Day in Phuket - Consider spending a day at one of Phuket's many beaches offering secluded tranquility or a vibrant nightlife! Visit Phuket's Old Town for Sino-Portuguese architecture or explore more temples. Phuket has amazing night markets sure to satisfy every foodie!

Optional Experience - Elephant Care Sanctuary ($205 per person): Learning, feeding, walking, bathing, and playing in the mud with these gentle elephants is truly an unforgettable experience you won't forget!

Their mission is to rehab disabled, elderly, and commercial elephants from a long life of unfair trade labor. Once you arrive at the camp, you'll get a chance to see these majestic animals up close and personal.

You can feed bathe these gentle creatures among some of the most breathtaking nature scenes you will ever see in person! The elephants enjoy being loved, walked with, spoken to, bathed in mud spas, and pampered!

Whether you choose a day of leisure or day of care, Day Six will be one for the books!

Day Seven - Day of Leisure or Optional Tigers or Thai Cooking!

After breakfast, enjoy another day of leisure in Phuket or...

Optional Experience - Tiger Kingdom ($80 per person)

Tiger Kingdom Phuket is one of only two such activities in Thailand that allows you an up close and personal experience with tigers! You can play, stroke, and take pictures in the tiger's actual enclosure!

Enjoy a safe and controlled interaction with the animals. This encourages public awareness and understanding of wildlife. The animals have been socialized since birth and enjoy all the personal attention!

You can choose to play and touch puppy tigers, small tigers and big ones too! There is friendly staff helping you along the way!

Optional Experience - Thai Cooking Class ($140 per person)

Learn to cook famous Thai dishes in a relaxed and friendly kitchen! You will be taught to cook traditional Thai food and be prepared to recreate these dishes at home!

Gain hands on experience making homemade curry paste and preparing popular dishes such as chicken satay, Panang curry with chicken, and mango sticky rice.

Collect fresh ingredients at a local market and enjoy your meal afterward.

Whether its a day of relaxing around Phuket, adventures with tigers, or cooking like the natives, Day Seven will be AMAZING!

There is only time to do one optional activity on Day Seven.

Day Eight - Thailand!

As your Thailand adventure comes to a close, it's time to bid farewell to this AMAZING country!

After a final breakfast at the hotel, we'll assist you with the checkout process and arrange transportation to Phuket International Airport (HKT).

Returning to the Airport:
Enjoy a comfortable transfer back to the airport, where you can reflect on the incredible experiences and memories made during your trip.

Leaving with Great Memories:
As you board your flight, take with you the unforgettable sights, sounds, and experiences of Thailand—whether it was the grandeur of the temples in Thailand, the beauty and serenity of the Phuket beaches, or maybe your adventure included elephants and tigers! ALL TRIP PAYMENTS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Trip payments may be transferred to another traveler, subject to approval.

If you book a double occupancy room and one person is no longer able to travel/cancels, the remaining person must pay the single occupancy rate or cancel as well.

No refund or reduction will be made to any guest with respect to airfare, accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transportation or any other services which are included in the trip package, but not utilized by a traveler due to personal reasons.
